The goal of clinical coordination is ensure quality clinical experiences for health care students. To accomplish this goal, we have streamlined the process of requesting learning spaces for college students at cooperating health care agencies. A Cooperating Clinical Planning Pilot Project for nursing programs in Maricopa County was developed and implemented in the Spring of 2001.

36 cooperating educational institutions participate in clinical coordination. Today there are 653 students from 15 schools attending clinicals at 36 agencies.

117 cooperating agencies, including a variety of health care organizations from within and surrounding Maricopa County, participate in clinical coordination. There are currently 1355 scheduled and in-progress experiences for 76 agencies.

To view the future scheduled clinical experiences for a specific agency, select the agency, type of experience, and a date on or before the first day of the experience.

To retrieve the blank Clinical Requirements form, choose the version for Glucose Number or Standard Requirement Form. Note: To get Internet Explorer to print the form properly you may need to choose "landscape" with .3" margins all around from page setup (?), and "print backgrounds" from tools(?).
